Born in Germany and raised as an Army Brat, I have traveled all over the world and to most of the 50 United States. As a child I wanted to be a veterinarian and would bring home every manner of rescued stray animal. My family treated our dogs and cats as part of the family and they always traveled to our next destination with us. As I grew, I realized I couldn’t stand seeing an injured or suffering animal, so the idea of vet school diminished. After High School in Northern Japan, I vowed to live in a warm climate so I attended college in Arizona for my Bachelor’s degree then moved to Florida after graduation. I spent the next 15 years building a career in the real estate industry, advancing my education and continuing to travel for work.
I never lost my passion for animals, have always owned rescued cats and dogs and have always taken extra care in finding a special person or facility to care for them while I traveled. In 2001, I discovered doggie day care for my pooch Peanut and fell in love with the industry. After that, I had my goal. I saved my money and made a plan. In 2008, I married a wonderful man who supports and encourages my dreams and we moved to Texas to be close to family. I met Dr. Hodgson in 2009 while looking to either buy or start a pet boarding facility that would fulfill my dream of working with animals. We soon became fast friends and I purchased the boarding and pet transportation business from him. He had opened the boarding facility in 1980 and started shipping pets in 2003, so he became my mentor and taught me everything I needed to know about running a boarding facility and transporting pets. In 2011, we opened a new building together and today he runs a successful veterinary practice from one suite and together with my team, I manage a beautiful boarding and day care facility and the best pet transportation company around. Just goes to show with enough planning and persistence, dreams can come true.

I love learning about all kinds of animals, taking care of my plants, getting new ones, snuggling on the couch and watching movies with Angel on my hip. I enjoy doing makeup and learning new tips and techniques, I enjoy spending time with my mom, usually shopping!

Favorite part about working at Airpets America: Working with my team to help get pets home with their families and overcoming difficult moves or obstacle throughout the moves.
I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and have been a life long pet owner and pet lover. Although I love animals of all kinds, I have a special affinity for dogs. I currently have a Golden Cream Chow which is half Golden Retriever – half Cream Chow. I thoroughly enjoy the pet shipping industry as it is very unique and our clientele are very passionate. I’ve always been in sales and marketing and love that I get to to meld my previous experience with this wonderful industry. In short order I enjoy working for Airpets America because it combines my passion for animals along with my passion for and sales, marketing and business growth & branding.
I was born in Dallas, Texas and have worked with animals my entire life. I hold an M.S. in Wildlife Forensic Science & Conservation. My two pets are a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a Green-Cheeked Conure, which are both a handful. Throughout the year, I do independent field work with several wolf and wildlife reservations. Overall, I love that I am able to incorporate my previous work experience with this industry as I get to work with many types of animals and ship them around the world.
I was born in a small town in Croatia. After traveling the world and working on cruise ships as a professional photographer for several years, I found my home in North Texas.
I’ve always had a passion for helping animals. In 2015 I adopted my beautiful boy Marley and started volunteering for animal rescues. I foster and rehabilitate dogs to get them ready for their forever families. I realized that working with animals and with people that are equally passionate about the animals is something I wanted to do full time. I found my dream job in Airpets America. I get to help owners and their babies reach their destination safely and keep families together.
